Making An Inspiration Wall (3 steps!)

IMG_1940

I’ve a library of quotes in my head on demand for any occasion whatsoever, and blurt them out daily during conversation to bemused family and friends. It’s no surprise then that I’ve (nearly) more photos of quotes printed out than I do photos of important occasions. After staring at a blank wall in my study every time I sat at the my desk for the past few months, I thought that an inspiration wall was in order.

I put this photo up on Instagram and it went down really well with everyone, so I thought I’d fill you in on how I did it.

  1. I searched on Pinterest for quotes that I liked and saved them as a file.
  2. I then went online to vistaprint.ie and ordered them for printing. It’s usually cheaper to order photos online than printing them in a shop.
  3. I picked up washi tape in Tiger, stuck them up and bam – an inspiration wall!

I spend a lot of time in my study doing college work and planning blog posts etc, so it’s nice to have something pretty to look at, and to get inspired along the way. Although, inspiration doesn’t always hit when I’m trying to learn about the Censorship of Publications Act 1929 – sigh.

And that’s it – cheap, cheerful and easy on the eye! I can see this little gallery expanding very soon…
