The Best Eye Makeup Remover

When it comes to removing makeup, taking off mascara and eyeshadow is the easiest part of my routine thanks to Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover. I have never tried an eye makeup remover that has worked so well, and I’ve tried a lot. My friend recommended this to me a few months ago and I’ve loved it ever since.

I don’t like spending a lot of money on eye makeup removers as I tend to go through them quite quickly, so the fact that this is less than €5 makes it a total winner for me. While removing foundation, powders and any base makeup takes so long, no matter how much or how little eye makeup I have on it’s always gone in less than a minute when I use this remover. It’s an oil and water based product, so makeup literally slides off the eye, even with waterproof mascara. Just one good shake of the bottle and a squirt on a cotton bud, hold on the lid for 15-20 seconds and bam you’re done.

The duo-phase formula works like no other to get every scrap of makeup off, and it’s so powerful that a little really goes a long way. No rubbing or tugging at the eye is needed, which I love as the skin around the eye is so sensitive. One of the best things about this product is that it doesn’t sting or irritate the eye whatsoever. You could nearly pour the bottle of this stuff in your eye and it wouldn’t sting at all. I haven’t tried that and wouldn’t recommend it, but you catch my drift.

So if you’re on the lookout for a new eye makeup remover, I’d put this one at the top of your list. It’s gentle yet removes everything with ease and is affordable – could it get any better?!
