Once A Week Treats

Whether it be on a Sunday to start the week, Friday to end the week or just on a Wednesday as a pick-me-up, we all need a once a week treat to pamper ourselves. As much as I’d love to use these products everyday, time just doesn’t allow it. I don’t always use all of these products on the one day, usually I spread them out over the week so there’s something nice to look forward to each day.

Even if you just have five minutes to paint your nails, or two hours to fully pamper yourself – finding the time to do these little things can make all the difference in how you feel during the week. So, find a day you’re free and treat yourself – you deserve it!

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter – A body butter is so much more luxurious than a plain moisturiser, and this one leaves skin feeling silky soft and smells amazing too!

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque – Using a hair masque makes me feel less guilty about curling/blow drying/straightening my hair during the week, and makes my hair smooth and repaired for the week to come!

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan – One coat of tan gives me such confidence, especially for a night out. This is my favourite once a week treat!

Soap & Glory Heel Genius – Slathering this on before I hop into bed feels so luxurious and when I wake up my feet are smooth and soft. Can you see a recurring theme in these products? :’)

Penneys Instant Nail Polish Remover – This makes painting my nails so quick and easy – one dip and nail polish is gone from each finger. Choosing what nail polish to pick is the toughest thing to do then!

Rituals Rice Scrub – A good scrub removes all of the previous week’s tan, and leaves a smooth base for a new layer to go on.

Clarisonic – I use my Clarisonic just once a week or fortnight to deep cleanse my skin and remove impurities. Anything more than that is too much for my sensitive skin, I find.

Super Facialist Pore Purifying Clay Mask by Una Brennan – Using a face mask has made such a difference in the condition of my skin. It exfoliates the skin as well as drawing out any impurities, plus it looks pretty cool as it dries like a clay.

Boots Expert Build Up Removal Shampoo (not pictured) – The newest addition to my once a week treat products, this shampoo removes product build up. Residue from hair sprays, dry shampoo, hair masks etc can lead to hair becoming lifeless and greasy quickly. This shampoo purifies the hair and leaves a fresh base.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, I can’t believe it’s Monday again!
