Makeup for Every Occasion

Following yesterday’s Shoes for Any Occasion post, a Makeup for Every Occasion post was inevitable. Although there are so many gorgeous makeup looks to try, I often end up sticking with the same, if not very similar, makeup for every occasion. Work, dinner, college, a trip to town – any occasion at all! While the look does slightly vary, usually I stick with a nude smoky eye and a pink lip. It’s one makeup look that I turn to on any day and it’ll be suitable for what I need to do, plus just a pair of lashes would take this look from day to night – now that’s convenience.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and Radiant Creamy Concealer give the perfect amount of coverage for any event, they’re not too heavy but still cover any imperfections, paired with Benefit Porefessional Primer underneath this is one long-lasting combo!

A swipe of NYX Stick Blush on the apples of the cheeks, MAC Cream Colour Base on the cheekbones and a sweep MAC Mineralise SkinFinish in Give Me Sun! gives the look a gorgeous bit of colour, and you’re able to intensify the application to suit the occasion! As per usual I use MAC Mineralise SkinFinish in Light to seal the deal and keep shine at bay.

The Naked 2 has every brown/gold colour to create whatever eye look you like, from a nude lid to a smoky eye – the perfect multitasker! A few coats of Benefit They’re Real! mascara to lengthen and volumise the lashes and there’ll be no need for false lashes. I also use Buck from the Naked 1 to fill in my brows, but didn’t want to photograph the whole palette for just one colour! I’m dying to get my hands on the Anastastia DipBrow Pomade!

Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balm in Elusive and lipgloss in Peony are a gorgeous pink duo, that looks as good during the day as it does at night.
