Before writing this post I made sure that I kept my purse out of view and put it as far away from me as possible. Window shopping online hardly even results in just that – a lesson I learned the hard way, although I’m not complaining. Here’s a few picks that I’d love to add to my wardrobe this spring, it’s hard to believe that we are nearly one month into 2014 already! While it is colder in Ireland now than it has been all winter, that’s not going to stop me dreaming of a warm, sunny spring!
Michael Kors Pressley Rose Gold Watch – The perfect accessory to pair with any outfit, anytime, a Michael Kors watch has been on my wish list for a long time. I think that watches are a great thing to invest in – they’ll always fit and you can wear them with anything. What better reason to pick up this rose gold beauty?!
Topshop Gingham Half Sleeve Crop Top and Pencil Skirt – Matching separates were everywhere last spring, and I don’t see the trend going anywhere this year. This monochrome set isn’t too ‘out there’ for me, and can be brightened up with accessories and jewellery. Plus, there are so many ways you could wear the crop top and skirt separately, no one will know that you’ve worn them before!
Missguided Laetita Faux Leather Asymmetric Skirt in Dusty Pink – I’ve had my eye on this skirt as soon as I saw it come into stock on the Missguided website. The dusty pink colour is a softer way to wear leather, and would look gorgeous paired with plain tees and oversized jumpers for day or strappy, slinky tops for night.
River Island Camel Coat – Longline, oversized coats were everywhere this winter, and while I didn’t find anything heavy enough that would brave the cold weather here, this camel one would be perfect for transitioning into spring. While I was originally looking at powder blues and pastel pinks, I think that I would get more wear out of this camel colour. It would match nearly everything, and look as good during the day as it would for an evening out.
Topshop Double Zip Holdall Bag – Can you tell that I totally stalked the Topshop website? I could have made a whole post on things I’d like to buy from Topshop alone. While I’m still in love with my Michael Kors Selma, this yellow holdall from Topshop is such nice eye candy, and would be perfect for brightening up rainy spring days.
Boohoo Adriana Distressed Relaxed Skinny Jeans – Trying to step away from my Topshop Leighs and American Apparel Easy Jeans, this ripped pair from Boohoo are totally different from what I’d usually wear – if the waistband doesn’t reach my belly button, I don’t go near them. But there’s something about the bleached, ripped effect of these jeans that might just pull me out of my comfort zone. They’d look great with casual t-shirts and Converse, as well as dressier tops and strappy heels for night. Plus, the €40 price tag makes them a bargain buy!
I’ve been looking for a pair of patterned trousers and jersey tops also, as well as a pair of caged heels, but have had no luck so far – another spring fashion post is in the future, I think! Until then, I hope you like these few pieces I’ve selected, if you’ve any spring OOTDs please link them below, I’d love to see!
